Welcome to Coaching with Collective Change Partners. Here’s a bit of information to help you discern how to approach your coaching experience.
Coaching is a partner relationship focused on furthering a person’s sense of clarity, capacity and fulfillment. Coaching conversation can focus on any area of dissatisfaction, curiosity, or aspiration.
Collective Change Partners coaching is done with Dawn Lehman. Coaching sessions are typically scheduled for up to an hour and held over the phone. Because the relationship is a co-active partnership, a conversation will take place before the coaching begins to clarify expectations around:
Confidentiality, Supportive communication, Feedback, Timing / Schedule, and Fees
Coaches are committed to:
Hold clients as the expert on their own life
Be completely honest and forthcoming
Ask evocative questions to explore the issues
Serve as an objective listener, observer, sounding board, and “mirror”
Hold clients accountable for the goals and priorities they set
Celebrate and honor clients’ achievements and milestones
Clients are expected to:
Give advance thought to a topic that they would like to be coached on (ie. areas for desired exploration, discernment, or transformation)
Cultivate openness to explore, play, stretch and grow
Be honest about the impact of the coach’s questions and direction
Give suggestions about what would feel helpful at any point in the process
How long does coaching last? The investment on coaching depends on what you want to get out of it. Some people benefit from a long-term coaching commitment (6-12 months) to establish a foundation of self-knowledge and empowering habits. Others prefer to do short-term coaching, as needed to shed light on a particular, timely issue. While sessions can be 1-time or ongoing, initially committing to a minimum or 3-6 session blocks is recommended in order to most benefit from the process.
How much does it cost? Coaching is most impactful when it is undertaken as an investment in yourself. Collective Change Partners offers coaching on a sliding scale from $50 - $100 per session, with the intention of making services available to those with limited financial means. We ask you to consider the value of coaching for you, as well as the amount you invest in related activities and services, and identify the rate that feels ‘right for you’. Payments can be made via Square (invoice) orother methods, upon request. You will be asked to share your payment preferences in the introductory session and to submit payment in advance of your coaching sessions.
