Founding Partner, Dawn Lehman
Dawn has worked for nearly two decades in the fields of Restorative Justice and Conflict Transformation. Much of this time she oversaw a victim-sensitive dialogue program which diverted young people from the Juvenile Court process. She also piloted a similar program in three schools, offering an alternative to suspension. Dawn has trained countless people to mediate conflicts and to facilitate restorative dialogues, and has conducted over 100 restorative dialogues ranging from minor school infractions to violent felonies. Dawn also conducts interpersonal mediations and has facilitated numerous community conversations around conflictual subjects.

After completing the Professional Coach Certification Program from Duquesne University’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement in 2012, Dawn furthered her studies through Martha Beck’s Wayfinder Coach Training. Her foundational education includes a B.A. in Social Work and an M.A. in Conflict Transformation. She credits her life-long learning to countless teachers, colleagues and friends who have challenged her to grow in unimagined ways.

Dawn has practiced mindfulness in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh for over twenty years, and draws inspiration from her sangha and many other teachers, including Rev. angel Kyodo williams and Pema Chodron. In 2021, she completed certification as a Mindfulness Instructor with MNDFL.

Dawn appreciates opportunities for honest dialogue, self-discovery and compassionate action, and she delights in cultivating these opportunities for others. Drawing on 20+ years of mindfulness practice, Dawn supports others in looking deeply at the truth of their own experience.She particularly enjoys engaging people to think about how organizations and communities can best represent our shared values, and promote authentic and caring relationships.
